Why Fireweed?
Native to the Pacific Northwest, fireweed is the first flower to emerge after fire or flood. Its roots can lie dormant for years, waiting patiently for the light, and each stem releases thousands of seeds that carry renewal across the landscape.
Having launched our agency in the midst of the pandemic, we see ourselves reflected in this resilient, hopeful flower. Fireweed reminds us that abundance can emerge from disruption, and that regeneration—whether in nature or in fundraising—comes from strong roots and the courage to begin again.
