About Us
Helping nonprofits harness their grant potential.

Meet Our Founder
Jacquee Kurdas
Bloom Grant Consulting was founded by Jacquee Kurdas, a grant strategist and nonprofit consultant with a background in social work, nonprofit leadership, and institutional fundraising. She has raised more than $23 million throughout her career.
Before founding Bloom, Jacquee led fundraising as a one-person development department, balancing grants alongside events, communications, donor stewardship, and countless competing priorities. She understands what it takes to grow a grant program while wearing many hats.
She founded Bloom to be the trusted partner she wished she had. Today, Bloom helps nonprofits cultivate stronger grant programs through thoughtful strategy, organized systems, and meaningful partnerships.
The Bloom Experience
Working with Bloom is about more than grant writing. It's about cultivating a partnership that helps your organization grow with confidence.
We take the time to understand your mission before recommending a path forward. From there, we become an extension of your team, bringing strategy, organization, and dependable support every step of the way.
Our clients describe Bloom as:
-
A trusted partner
-
An extension of their development team
-
Organized, strategic, and proactive
-
Genuine, collaborative, and invested in their success
Our goal is to leave every organization stronger, more confident, and ready for what's next.
Our Promise to Our Clients
Inspired by the resilience of fireweed, we believe thriving grant programs are cultivated over time. Every partnership is guided by three commitments:
We put down strong roots.
We begin by listening. Every recommendation starts with understanding your mission, your community, and your goals.
We cultivate sustainable growth.
We bring structure, strategy, and practical systems that reduce overwhelm and help your grant program flourish.
We help organizations flourish.
Our work doesn't end with a submitted proposal. We help nonprofits build resilient grant programs that continue growing long after our partnership ends.
