Use the Eisenhower Matrix for Productivity & Focus

How to Use the Eisenhower Matrix for Focus

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list or frequently distracted throughout your workday?

We get it and we're here to help!

The Eisenhower Matrix is a handy task management tool that helps you organize and prioritize tasks by urgency and importance. Using this matrix, you will divide your tasks into four boxes based on: the tasks you'll do first, tasks you'll schedule for later, tasks you'll delegate, and tasks you’ll delete.

✍️ Download Bloom's FREE Eisenhower Matrix worksheet below! Add it to your planner to help you focus on big and small tasks to reduce overwhelm today and in days ahead.

Here are some examples of tasks to list in your Matrix:

  1. Review an important document for your manager.

  2. Schedule time to hit the gym or go for a walk.

  3. Delegate responsibilities by suggesting a better person for a task or by giving the requester the necessary information to have them deal with the matter themselves.

  4. Shop for those new shoes you've been eyeing online.

Bonus Tip: Use a timer to help you concentrate and take five-minute breaks every 25 minutes of focused work (check out the Pomodoro Method).

You've got this! 🙌
